Professional Web Development
Professional web development on a fixed scope and fixed timeline. A site that ranks from day one and stays fast for years.
- Custom design system
- WordPress / Next.js build
- Schema + GEO ready
What Professional Web Development Actually Delivers
Most websites are built on page builders that look fine in a demo and fall apart under real traffic. Slow load times, bloated code, no schema, no performance budget. The site goes live and then sits there, invisible to Google and uncited by AI engines.
Our professional website development service starts from the opposite assumption. Every site we build is hand-coded, semantically structured, schema-complete, and tuned for Core Web Vitals from the first commit. It is ready to rank before the launch announcement goes out.
Technical fixes after the fact cost more than doing it right the first time. We have seen this enough times to build the right way by default.
How professional web development works
A fixed scope and a fixed timeline, agreed in writing before the first line of code. You see the site at every stage: structure first, then design, then content, then launch.

01
Web development strategy
Before we open Figma, we map your audience, study your competitors, and identify the keywords your buyers actually search. Every design and architecture decision follows from this. We do not skip this step.
-
02
Design system
We build a full component library in Figma and design your key pages. Development starts only after you have reviewed and approved everything. No surprises in code that were not in the design.
-
03
Development and Engineering
We hand-write a custom WordPress or Next.js theme with clean, semantic code. Schema markup goes in from the start. We set a performance budget on day one and enforce it through every commit. No page builders, no third-party drag-and-drop plugins loading five external scripts.

04
Launch and Handoff
Full QA before anything goes live. A recorded walkthrough so your team can manage content without depending on us. Complete technical documentation. Every asset, every credential, every line of code is yours.
What Professional Web Development Covers
Design, front-end code, content structure, schema markup and launch in one scope. The theme is written by hand in PHP, JavaScript and Sass, with content managed through Advanced Custom Fields.
Custom design system
A Figma component library mapped directly to your code. Your site looks like your brand, not like a template someone else is using on twenty other sites.
Hand-coded theme
Clean, semantic, accessible, and responsive. No page builder bloat. No unnecessary plugins slowing down every page load. Code that a developer can read and maintain two years from now.
Schema and Structured Data
Full JSON-LD coverage validated against Google's Rich Results Test. FAQ, Service, Organization, BreadcrumbList — every type relevant to your content, implemented correctly.
AI search optimization (GEO)
Site architecture and llms.txt configured so your brand appears as a cited source inside ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, not just in Google search results.
Core Web Vitals
LCP under 1.5 seconds. Stable layout. Fast interaction response. We hit these numbers at launch and document how we got there.
Analytics and Measurement
Full setup of GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile. You have real data from day one, not a blank dashboard waiting to be configured.
Performance at launch
How we're different from a typical web agency
- Page builder (Elementor / WPBakery)
- Design-first, SEO bolted on later
- Bloated code, slow load
- Google-only
- Handed off, then you're on your own
- Hand-coded, clean foundation
- Built to rank from the first line
- Core Web Vitals in the green, sub-1.5s LCP
- Ready for Google AND AI engines (schema + GEO + llms.txt)
- Analytics wired, documented, handoff-ready
Who This Service Is Not Right For
You need it live next week. A proper custom build takes 2–6 weeks; if you need something up tomorrow, a template is faster.
You’re on the tightest budget. Hand-coded quality costs more than a $200 theme; if price is the only factor, we won’t be a fit.
You want endless drag-and-drop editing. We build for speed and structure, not a builder where anyone rearranges blocks — if that’s the priority, a page builder suits you better.
You have no content or brand direction yet. We can help shape it, but a build goes faster when the positioning and core content already exist.
Frequently Asked Questions
What platforms do you build on?
We build primarily on WordPress with a custom hand-coded theme, and on Next.js when a project genuinely needs a headless setup. The choice is made on your requirements, not on our preference. WordPress fits businesses that edit content weekly and want one system to maintain. Headless fits products that need sub-second response at scale and can afford to run two systems. In practice the cheaper option usually wins. In 2026 we measured a hand-coded WordPress theme with no page builder at 0.46 seconds on our own 45 pages, and 0.26 seconds on a recent client build. That is faster than most headless sites assembled without care. What we never do is build on a page builder or a bought template, because the layout then lives inside a plugin you have to keep paying for and cannot fully control.
Do we own the code after launch?
Yes, completely. Every file, credential and design asset transfers to you at handoff, along with written documentation. There is no ongoing licence, no dependency on our infrastructure and no proprietary builder that stops working if you leave. This matters more than it sounds. A site assembled in a page builder is effectively rented. The layout lives inside a plugin, and cancelling that plugin breaks the pages. We write the theme by hand, so any competent developer can read it and continue without us. For example, in 2026 we shipped a client plugin of 242 lines of JavaScript and 280 lines of PHP with its own admin screen, and the client now edits it directly. In practice you receive a repository, a documented admin and a walkthrough call. The site keeps running whether or not you stay with us.
What does the schema setup actually cover?
Schema markup is structured data that tells search engines and AI assistants what each page actually is. We implement JSON-LD for every relevant type: Organization, LocalBusiness, Person, Service, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList and Article. The types are linked into one connected graph rather than scattered as separate snippets, because a graph lets an engine resolve your business as a single entity. Our own site carries 11 linked nodes, and you can inspect them before hiring us. Schema is set up during the build, not sold afterwards as an add-on. In practice this is what decides whether ChatGPT or Perplexity names your business when a buyer asks who to hire in your category. For example, we also configure llms.txt and AI crawler access in robots.txt, so the assistants that read your site are not blocked by accident.
Can you work with our existing brand guidelines?
Yes. If you have an existing design system, we build on top of it and respect the tokens you already use for colour, type and spacing. If you are starting from scratch, we develop the design system as part of the engagement and hand it over documented. Either way the system lives in code rather than inside a builder’s settings panel, so it stays consistent across every page and survives changes of developer. In practice we write the front end in Sass with variables for every value, which means a brand colour or a font change is one edit rather than a hunt through templates. For example, on a recent client build the theme runs across 33 Sass files and 11 PHP templates, with no hardcoded values anywhere. Your guidelines become the code, instead of a PDF nobody opens after launch.
What happens after launch?
After launch you can run the site yourself or keep us on a retainer, and both are real options rather than an upsell. The handoff includes a recorded walkthrough of the CMS, full technical documentation and a post-launch QA check. The person editing the site learns to add a page, publish an article and update content without breaking layout. If you want the site to keep growing, our SEO and organic growth retainer starts at $1,500 a month and the GEO retainer at $350. There is no lock-in contract and you can cancel at any time. In practice most work after launch is content and search rather than code. We measured our own site continuously after launch, tracking response time, schema output and citability, and retainer clients receive that same reporting every month. Nothing breaks if you leave, because you own the code and the documentation goes with it.
How is this different from hiring a freelance developer?
A freelance developer builds what you specify. We specify it with you, build it to measurable performance and search standards, and hand off documentation. The difference shows up in what is included by default. A freelance quote usually covers design and code, then treats schema, hreflang, Core Web Vitals, accessibility and AI crawler access as extras or as somebody else’s job. We handle those during the build, because retrofitting them afterwards costs more than doing them once. There are two of us, so you always talk to the person writing the code. For example, when we audited a recruitment site in 2026 we measured its GEO readiness at 28% and delivered the fix list rather than a vague report. In practice you are buying a standard and a method, not a pair of hands. You are buying a standard and a method rather than a pair of hands for hire.
